This place is only a 1/2 mile away from me, but I never realized it had a track! Like the other reviewer says, it's just a concrete oval (220 meters?) but it's good enough for running laps and sprints. It also has light poles around the perimeter that keep it well lit for evening use.

This place isn't bad for throwing around the frisbee or the football. It's basically just a wide open field with a cement track running around the perimeter.
I've played here a number of times and its really great for a convenient open area in Lakeview. The turf itself usually isn't that well kept up, but under normal circumstances it doesn't hinder anything.
During Saturdays in the spring and summer it can get pretty busy, however.
Oh yeah, its got a couple chess tables and a playground for kids as well.
